Newspaper Column
A Personal Note To The Newspaper Editors of America
After 25 years of writing and producing my weekly column, I am in a position to make you an offer that I have never been able to make before. I have written 1,300 columns and they are all on my website: www.jimdavidsoncolumn.com. This site was developed and is hosted by our local daily newspaper, The Log Cabin Democrat, here in Conway, Arkansas. Never before have I been able to make it available where you can pick and choose the column you wish to run each week. Obviously, some columns fit one community better than others. Some may be a little outdated but most are timeless because of the concepts and principles they convey.
The columns are password protected and they are in sets of 26 columns each. When you sign up and the cost is very reasonable, I will send you, electronically, the titles and the password for each set. Then, each week, your editor can select the column he or she wishes to run. I will also provide you with a pre-written article, with photo, that you can run front-page to let your readers know there is something exciting coming for them each week in your paper.
In view of the world-wide pandemic, and the adverse effect it is having on our people and our nation, something positive and encouraging each week for your readers, would be most welcome. As we hear news reporters say every day, “We are all in this together, and we will get through it.” Just think of the real value this column would be for your readers, and something they would look forward to each week. It would be an honor to be of service.
